Trauma Special Interest Group Update

We had a meeting with AP Dr Christopher Ross, ACEP Invasive Procedural Trainer and Ms Joanna from Teleflex in UM. Teleflex has verbally agreed to provide us a grant for a professional EM procedural training course. The course proposed to be a collaboration amongst the Academic Unit Trauma and Emergency UM, Silent Mentor Program UM, MOH, Teleflex and our college. We have agreed to start the course as a pre conference for our EMAS. Chris has also agreed to come as a speaker to our conference. Another emergency physician from Royal Alfred Hospital Melbourne affiliated with Monash University will be joining him too.
